This artwork is colored pencil originally done on Rising Museum board. It was created from a photograph taken standing west of the rock called the Bastille as the sun was setting. I have rock climbed the face in the sun and it was as exciting as it looks! The shadows are very dramatic as the sun sets, which makes for a great picture.
